A high min res and low max res are used to achieve even distribution of samples across entire image.
Strength 110% Accuracy 65 Prepass Size 1/1 Diffuse Depth 2 Stochastic Samples 240 Min. Resolution 150 Max. Resolution 65 The non radiosity render took 83 minutes. The radiosity render took 11 hours to render the radiosity pass, and 16 hours total. Obviously many optimizations need to be achieved before this scene can be animated. The best idea I can think of so far to reduce render times is to bake the radiosity into the walls, ceiling and floor, and where possible, other objects too. |
